Our Story

A Legacy of Faith Since 2000

Deliverance Church Southern Bypass was established in the year 2000 with a divine vision to create a vibrant, welcoming community where people can encounter God and grow in their faith journey.

Located strategically at the Southern Bypass Roundabout in Karen, we have been serving the Nairobi community for over 26 years, touching lives across Dagoretti, Karen, Ngong Road, Thogoto, Kikuyu, and Kawangware.

From humble beginnings, we have grown into a thriving church family that embraces people from all walks of life, united by our love for God and our commitment to serving our community.

Serving Nairobi — Our Future Vision

As we look to the future, we are committed to expanding our impact across Nairobi

Food Distribution Program

We envision reaching vulnerable families across Nairobi with food supplies and nutritional support, starting with Kibera and Kawangware communities.

Education & Mentorship

We plan to provide scholarships, mentorship programs, and educational support to children and youth in our community, empowering the next generation.

Health & Medical Outreach

Our vision includes organizing medical camps and health awareness programs to serve the healthcare needs of Nairobi communities.

Church Planting

We aspire to plant new churches in underserved areas of Nairobi, extending our reach and impact across the city and beyond.

Youth Empowerment

We envision comprehensive youth programs that develop leadership skills, vocational training, and spiritual growth for young people in Nairobi.

Prayer & Healing Centers

We plan to establish dedicated prayer and healing centers across Nairobi, providing spiritual support and counseling to those in need.

Rev. Dr. John Njoroge

Senior Pastor

With over 20 years of ministry experience, Pastor John leads with prophetic insight, a deep passion for healing ministry, and a heart for seeing lives transformed by the power of God.

Pastor Annicate Njoroge

Co-Pastor

A compassionate leader with a heart for families and women's empowerment, Pastor Annicate nurtures spiritual growth and community development through her pastoral care and teaching ministry.
